Hello and welcome to Sound Out-loud, my music and food blog. These are two of my passions in life (perhaps my only two) and are also two things that feel I would enjoy waxing upon over the internet. Thus I feel it is appropriate to throw my passions headlong into the blog-o-sphere, and hope something sticks. Who know what the cruel mistress of fortuna will have in store? It is my prediction that I will probably be able to keep this up for at least the larger part of a semester. I might give up earlier but who knows? I am doing this mainly because I like sharing music, but also for this next semester I am doing an independent study on folk music and thus will be listening to and hopefully recording a lot of interesting music that I hope to share with you. The food thing is just for kicks and plus who doesn't enjoy a little variety? If hearing about quality recipes and restaurants, along with an eclectic selection of Folk, Soul, Jazz, Dance, World, and Rock n' Roll try subscribing to sound out-loud.
